OK, here is the inside secret for getting a new power supply for the N3260 or N3250 although different both are manufactured by the same company. Here is the link for the distibutor http://store.ramplus.com/fsfspopfrpos.ht...
they deal in replacement power supplies.

If this fails contact the manufacture of the board itself FSP Group, Inc. they can be reached via link
    www.fspgroupusa.com or phone at (909) 606-0960

The part number is located on the parts side of the board, beginning with FSP---

You can ship your board in for repair or order a new one if in stock.

    This should do it,

Heard a "pop" then went dead.

Sorry to say - it sounds like the 'pop of death'. The 50" Zenith plasma is very common for having a power failure issue. The problem resides in the Y-Sustain board in most cases. The Toshiba 50HP66 and Vizio P50HDM (as well as LG and HP 50" Plasmas) also have the same issue as they all use the same PDP Panel (plasma panel). The parts are manufactured by LG/Zenith Corporation. Since your Zenith is the model i'm thinking of (Z50PX2D), then the board you would need is the following:
http://www.discount-merchant.com/PCB-Y-SUS-MAIN-FOR-HP-HP-PL5060N-TELEVISION-p/2 761-hp-hp-pl5060n.htm

The above site is the ONLY place that I have ever found selling this hard to find part and the price is reasonable. If they are out of stock on that exact link, just search for 6870QYC004C on their site and you might find one that is in stock.

NOTE: Before making any purchases, please check the part and make sure it is what your TV needs. I am simply making recommendations and trying to point you to the right direction.

Emerson 32 inch LCD TV will not come on.

I'm sure you already checked the outlet and the surge protector bar. It's lame how the warranty only last a year on this TV.

If your lucky, it will be just the fuse that need to be replaced. It will look like a little glass tube with metal caps on the ends. Radio Shack or an Electronic supply store will have the fuse. Just show them the fuse and they should match up the type and size. It needs to be 4amps and 125volts fuse.

If this doesn't work, you'll need to replace is the power supply board. The board# is BA71F0F01042. Your power supply board should have the same number on the lower right side of this board.

The board is hard to find right now. Only three places I know of to find it.
Ebay,
Discount-Merchant.com,
and Shopjimmy.com
Sadly, nobody has them in stock.
I wish I had a extra board to sell you, because I know how to repair the power supply. I have the schematics diagrams and part# for the pieces on the board.
If you ever come across a replacement board, let me know. I would like to buy your old board. Here's my e-mail, www.dsacco86@hotmail.com

360211d.jpg The problem is the 6 Transformer Inverters that power up the LCD screen. If one blows out, the TV will go into protection mode like it's doing now. All the Funai TVs are having the same problem. Because, it uses the same parts.

yes, I believe so too

alright so from what I found, the power supply is part # E7802-005008 but the bad news is that they don't make or sell this part anymore anywhere that I know of.

So your options are to basically have someone with electronic skills fix it which may mean paying an electronics store to do it. $50-$200, I'd say would be reasonable or you don't have a tv. I think the inverter is bad which is what I expect them to find. So call around to local electronics stores such as Radio Shack and other local ones and see what prices they will give if you don't know of anyone that could personally do it.

If you need help finding a store, let me know your zip code and I will give you some options. If you need anything else, let me know too.

No picture BUT I HAVE SOUND

The cheaper power assembly will do exactly the same as the more expensive one, they are both Chinese made. The reason they are selling them more expensive is because they know the need for these service parts since there are not many places that carry them.
Good Luck.
