If the Jam code is C3T, ensure the process drive assembly is correctly homed. 4. Ensure the stripper carriage moves freely 5. Run the transfix drive slow and transfix drive fast test.

Coin Mate model 200-CS. While counting quarters I keep getting the JAM error when there is no jam to be seen. What is causing the phantom jam?

Use compressed Air and blow around the wholes. Most likely lint making it think a jam has happened... Do not use any other spray lube just Air. Lube with make dust sticky.
Hope this helps

My Xerox Phaser 8560N has paper jams very often. The codes from Troubleshooting->Service Tools->Jam History for the last 20 jams are: - N4W [9] - C3T [6] - P4V [2] - C3X [1] - M4F [1] -A2C ...

Most of these types of paper jam errors are caused by a cracked cam on the Drum Maintenance Camshaft, which throws the timing off for the whole print process. I would recommend a technician replace the camshaft because there are components that need carefully removed to avoid breaking, then they need to be properly aligned and timed when they are reinstalled. Not really a do-it-yourself repair.

I have a singer cxl electronic sewing machine and i have a problem with the needle either not moving or stopping when stitching the larger motifs or the zigzag stitch, somtimes the needle jut moves too...

The needle either not moving or stopping is a sign that the machine is jamming. Here's the answer for the question "My machine is jammed" from the FAQs on Singer's web site at http://www.singerco.com/support/faqs.html

A jammed machine is caused by thread being caught in the hook. Remove the upper thread and the bobbin case, turn the hand wheel towards you (counterclockwise) by hand and remove any thread in the bobbin case area. *Always turn the hand wheel towards you. Turning the hand wheel away from you (clockwise) can cause the machines timing to become unaligned and jam your machine. Also, always make sure the presser foot is in the down position before you start sewing. Sewing with the presser foot in the up position will jam your machine in the bobbin case.

Your description of the needle hitting the plate or foot is an indication that the machine's timing has become unaligned which can be caused as indicated above by turning the hand wheel away from you - the correct way is to *Always turn the hand wheel towards you.

I have Xerox 8550 coming up with a jam when the printer starts up. The C3T error code is given. Today I opened it up and following the instructions from the Service Manual I did the homing procedures on...

Two things normally cause that. Look in the area inside the top cover where there are 2 green guides that flip up so you can clear a jam off the drum. See if the clear mylar guide it bent or cut causing the jam.
If that is ok then more than likely you have a process drive timing problem. That is the drive gear assembly on the right side of the machine.
You can try removing it and retiming it by inerting pins throught the timing holes.
I suspect a process Drive timing problem

Oki C5500 printer keeps jamming

Open the tray and find yout imput roller. You can remove this roller and put it back on the other side. Normally this is caused because it is worn. The inside of the roller is like a new one.

The first symbol with the two circles and the paper one are both flashing. thanks

This can be caused by a paperjam somewhere in the machine. Examen your machine to see if there is a piece of paper jammed in your machine. If you are sure there is no paper in the machine the formatter board can also cause this problem. In that case you'll have to exchange your formatterboard. Partnumber Q7805-69003. Gerrit Jan

Paper jam. caused error print unable 30

"Machine Error 30" (or "Unable to Print") indicates either a simple problem such as a paper or part of a paper stuck inside the machine, which of course is solved by opening the machine as much as possible and remove the reason for the jam.
Even a ripped part of a paper will be able to cause the paper, so it's important to be careful when taking jammed paper out to not rip the paper (do this by carefully pulling the paper among the same way as it would go when printing, not the opposite direction).

However, if that doesn't work, the error is mechanical (but still most likely caused by the jam, either a sensor getting dirty and unable to do it's work, or actually getting broken), and there isn't much you can do. If the message comes back right after turning on the machine, you'll have to have service performed on the machine.
