Question about Mitsubishi WT-46809 46" Rear Projection Television
Thanks for using FixYa. The issue is with the failed convergence (STK) ICs which needs tobe replaced. It’s not a difficult job if you want to do this yourself, youshould require some basic knowledge about soldering-resoldering components. Tostart with you’ll have to open the back of the unit and then replace the ICs(STK ICs) which are located behind the black heat sink and also check theresistors as if they are short the ICs might blow again after sometime. Please check this picture:
