Hi please follow these steps to connect your ipod touch to the network? The iPod touch is not only a music playerI have a netgear wndr3300 - mag-glass_10x10.gif, but also your gateway to the world via the Internet. In order to connect to the iTunes music store and use the email and web-browsing features of your iPod touch, you must first connect to a wireless network.

  • Touch the "Settings" icon on the home screen of the iPod touch. The iPod does not require you to press down very hard to select an icon. Using your finger, lightly tap the application you want to activate it.
  • Step 2Choose the Wi-Fi setting and turn it on. You may need to wait a moment while the device locates available networks.

    • Select the wireless network you want to connect to. You may have more than one option based on your location. If you are prompted for a password, enter it and touch "Join."

    • Step 4Opt to have your iPod alert you when there is a new network you can join. This can be useful if you are no longer in range of a network you have previously used. To receive these messages, turn on the "Ask to Join Networks" feature.

    • Step 5Tell the iPod touch to "forget" a wireless network that you no longer want to use, so it will not automatically try to connect you. Under the Wi-Fi settings, tap the ">" button next to the network you want to delete and then touch "Forget this network."

Expect that some wireless networks detected by your iPod touch will ask you to sign up for a fee-based service. If this is acceptable to you, open up the Safari application from the home screen. You will be taken to a website that explains the terms of service and accepts credit card payments for wireless Internet access.

How do i fix after modem reset

Basically, you unplug all of the Netgear Xe104 units, wait a minute, then plug the one nearest to the Router back into a wall socket first. Wait a few seconds then plug in a second Xe104 and give it a minute to "talk" to the first unit. Then plug other Xe104's in one at a time. Below you'll find the official troubleshooting steps which you should read carefully if the basic steps above do not resolve the problem.
Also, i should tell you that Powerline adapters such as yours have improved greatly in the last few years, and you can buy a pair of new ones that are very, very much faster than yours for a very modest cost. For example, TP-LINK TL-PA4010KIT
or NETGEAR Powerline 500 1-Port Starter Kit (XAVB5201) or
    ZyXEL PLA4225 4-Port 500 Mbps Powerline Gigabit

Power Light Not On Make sure that, if power to the AC power outlet is controlled by a wall switch, the wall switch is in the on position. Verify that the wall socket is live by disconnecting the XE104 85 Mbps Wall-Plugged Ethernet Switch and plugging in some other electrical product, such as a lamp or a hairdryer. If the error persists and you have confirmed the power outlet you are using is live, you have a hardware problem and should contact technical support.
HomePlug Light Not On If the power light is on but the HomePlug light is not, check the following: • Make sure that power is being provided to more than one PowerLine device. Another PowerLine device must be installed for successful communication across the PowerLine. • Verify that the network password is the same on all devices in the PowerLine network.
Ethernet Light is Off • Make sure that the Ethernet cable is plugged in properly at both ends. • Be sure you are using the correct cable on the router that the first XE104 is connected to. When connecting the router's Internet port to a cable or DSL modem, use the cable that was supplied with the cable or DSL modem. This cable could be a standard straight-through Ethernet cable or an Ethernet crossover cable. • On attached Ethernet device or network adapter card, check that the Link light is

How to turn Netgear WNR834B into a repeater

I don't think the Netgear WNR834B is capable of acting as a repeater but there is another solution. I would decide where I want to put the Netgear WNR834B for best coverage and then do the following. Go buy the Powerline Ethernet Adapters of your choice and put one at the main connection and plug a ethernet cable into a open switch port. Second go to where the repeater is to be located and plug the 2nd Powerline Ethernet Adapters in and connect to the Netgear WNR834B LAN port. Be sure to turn off DHCP on the Netgear WNR834B and assign a IP address that is not used. I normally use the highest address in the last octet so that I can remember for management. xxx.xxx.xxx.254. I hope this helps you.

    Iphone connection with router

In order for your Iphone to connect to N network you need to make sure that Iphone supports 5 Ghz network. I believe Iphone only supports 2.4 Ghz and that is why you can not connect it to the 5 Ghz (N network) of the router.

    Hope this answers your query.

I have a logitech cctc system but when i plug in the usb device it states there is a problem with the powerline bridge driver and states its not compatable with vista but logitech states it is compatable...

You might have a 64-bit Windows installed. The drivers on the CD are only for 32-bit windows. Download and install the latest drivers from Logitech website (http://www.wilife.com/Support/Downloads.aspx), which includes the 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Hope this helps !

    Trouble installing XE102 Powerline

there wasn't actually any problem with the device. For these bridges to work, you need to be on the same phase of the wiring. If the devices are on different phases then they can't communicate. But I still couldn't get the encryption to work. Netgear support doesn't seemed to be bothered with that...they told me to ignore it.

Netgear xe102 isnot picking up an ip address

    -- Xe102 is a plug n play powerline device
-- there is no specific configuration required for that .
-- try hard resetting from the reset hole on the back of the device
-- then get the powerline checked
-- check the light status of the powerline device.
And if the problem still persists , upgrade the powerline device ..
