Remove power, remove the battery, remove the bottom cover that covers a small quarter sized battery (bios) wait 1/2 hour plug in the bios battery and, the power supply restart the computer. then: put the main battery back in. that should clear the password.
if it happens again: replace the bios battery.

to the Toshiba Model Support Page. Click the SUPPORT BULLETINS Tab and Go To PAGE TWO. Click the one that says: Incorrect power-on password prompt -- with older BIOS versions . Read It Carefully and follow the instructions. Your repair will cost you NOTHING.
