http://www.vaio-link.com/login/login.asp?site=voe_en_GB_cons Try that link, put in the product code and serial number. Updated drivers usually help those issues. Any drivers that come with a computer/labtop are almost always out of date.

I was uninstalling unnecessary programs in my sony vaio VGN-NW series and accidentally uninstalled broadcom wireless device. what can i do?

It should "discover" it when you reboot. If it doesn't try going in the control panel and searching for new hardware and see if it detects it. You will need the driver for it too, which you should be able to get online through Sony's site. You'll need to match the exact model and operating system to get the right driver.

Hi there... I am having a Sony mouse PCGA-WMS5. Its working fine but for few seconds. i.e. it gets disconnected means the infra red light goes off with in few seconds or say a minute. Y is it so? Batteries...

The connect button is to connect the wireless link between your mouse and the receiver. You will want to press the button on the receiver first and then press the button on the mouse within 5 seconds. If that doesn't solve the issue take the thing back to where you got it because it is defected.

Problem with my Sony PCGA-WMS5 wirless mouse

Normal 0 If the mouse doesn't have a little door to open on the bottom, then try this. Just behind the Left and Right keys where your hand rests, apply firm pressure down on the cover and slide to the rear. Some mouse manufactures have used this type of access to replace the batteries.
Hope this helps. Bud
