How to connect wifi in lenovo g575

In order to connect to a wireless network and the Internet on an IBM Lenovo machine, you must first enable wireless networking via your computer's operating system. Allow about five minutes to enable your IBM Lenovo computer's wireless capabilities.

Click the Windows logo in the bottom left of your screen. Select "Control Panel" from the menu. Click the "Network and Internet" icon in the Control Panel. Click "Network and Sharing Center." Right click "Wireless Network Connection" icon. Select "Enable." Enable Wireless via Switch Check your IBM Lenovo laptop for a wireless networking switch. It is usually on the front of the computer above the keyboard. Slide the wireless switch to the "On" position. Look for a wireless light on the front of the laptop. In some cases a light will come on to indicate that wireless networking is active. Other switches, when active, reveal a green strip of plastic.

Wireless icon is grayed out, not detecting wireless network.

Hi,
There is usually a switch and an indicator led associated with the wireless. Check to see the device is swiched on with a physical switch on the side or front of the laptop. My wife's Acer has a silver button on the front that regularly gets accidentally pressed turning off the wireless! very annoying. If there is no physical switch then check on the keyboard for a blue wireless symbol. Usually this is activated by the "fn" key (depress and hold) and then press the wireless key. Sometimes there is a specific wireless button next to the keyboard.
Failing all this right click on "My computer" and click "Manage". Click on device manager and check the network devices. Is the wireless network device shoowing a red X? if it is then wireless may be disabled here. Right click it and "Enable" the device. If it has a yellow mark the driver may be corrupted. Go to the manufacturer's website and download the latest driver for the wireless and re-install it. Obvoiusly you will need to connect to the router by cable while you do this!

Hope this helps

How do i turn my wireless on

Right click your "My computer" and click Manage. From the Computer Management window, click on Device Manager and Expand Network Adapters from the right. Right click the Wireless Network Adapter and choose to click "enable". That's it! A wireless connection indicator from your windows tray, (the lower right corner of your monitor) will appear.

Hope this helps.

Sony vaio VGN NS15G/S NOT CONNECT INTERNET! ASK FOR SWITCH ON HARDWARE INTERNET SWITCH

Your laptop has a hardware wireless switch to turn on or turn off wireless transmission.
Look for it and make sure it is turned on.
I don't know your laptop model, but the switch is probably located in the font of the computer, besides the SD card slot. It might be marked "Wireless" and when turned a light should signal it.

Wireless not working

I assume it's a laptop/notebook.
If so then there is a switch near the light that is on when the adapter is on. It will be a very small slide switch, on the front or side edge. Simply find it and slide to on. Or if it's already on then try pressing the fn key and f8 together, as this sometimes is a second wireless switch.
I hope this helps

MY WIRELESS ROUTER WILL NOT CONNECT TO THE INTERNET. The lights on the front are flashing. I have installed the modem adn router disk but it still wont work.....

If you have a modem connected to a wireless router that is connected to the computer, turn all the devices off and turn them back on in this order.
1. modem
2. wireless router
3. computer

let the device start up all the way before you start the next device. (I.E. let all the lights on the modem come on before starting the wireless router and let all the lights come on on the wireless router before turning on the computer).

Hope that helps.
