Under the dash on the passenger side is a connector that is know to go out. It burns through the plastic mainly on the grounded side. Issue is mine has went out every six months or so. There is no recall either. Part cost about $20 for each coneector piece. Lucky mine only has need one side of the connector replaced. On the H3 its red and right under the dash on passengers side up by the door. Hope this helps. If not you will have to take it in to see if its the fan motor or something else.

A/c clutch fuse blows on 06 hummer

The AC clutch contains a field coil that creates a magnet pull on the drive plate, that field coil is shorted, replace it. You need a special puller to remove the AC pulley to access the coil.

H3 A/C Problems. New resistor...now what??

I had the same problem. I fix it my self. This is what you look for, is your a/c blower working when you turn the fan on. If a/c light come on but nut the blower fan. Then under passenger dash you will see orange plug. It's held in with 2 screws. Remove 2 screws and pull resistor out. Disconnect orange plug and look at orange plug and the resistor if burn need to replace the resistor and the orange connector. That's your problem. Now if your blower works but no power to a/c switch and you instrument nobles has no lights. Then it's a fuse check #48 and # 57 fuse that controls that Troy

When i turn on the contol knob for the air conditioner it will not blow, i have a 2006 hummer h3.

It sounds like your fan is not getting power or the motor is shot.

You can check the fuse panel to see if there is a blown fuse. Your manual should be able to tell you where the fuse panel is and which fuse controls the AC fan.

If that doesn't work either the fan motor is fried and needs to be replaced or there is a wire between the control panel and the fan that is severed/shorted. If you can find the blower fan and you have a multimeter you can test the motor to see if its good. Let me know if you need any more help.
