Question about Nintendo DS Console

1 Answer

My youngest kid put my daughters DS down the toilet, she is very upset as she got it for Christmas. I dried it out in the airing cupboard and it now won't work unless you plug in the charger. After a while of using the charger it goes off.

Obviously you know its water damaged, you can get a replacement, or get it sent off for repairs for free, *** long as you bought it less than 12months ago, you shouldnt have a problem, dont tell them what happened, just say it stopped working otherwise they wont replace it, similar thing happened to a mate of mine, he dropped it in the pool, trust me get replacement

Is there a way 2 revive a waterlogged Nintendo ds? my little brothers dropped it in the toilet

it is possible if you remove the batteries, and then remove the back screws, and let it air dry, and let it set for a day. once it has been dried, put it back together, put new batteries into it.

if this doesn't fix it then its probably runt.

Can you fix a nintendo ds with water damage??

try to dry the whole ds out, maybe with a hair dryer so all the water clears from the ds. If this does still not work, there will be a problem with the battery and i recommend you to take it to a shop to get fixed. If you still dont have any luck im very sorry but youll have to buy another nintendo ds.

Car chargers stuck in nintendos, 2 upset daughters

did u try plugging them back in to the car ,maybe they heated up if so plug them in leave them for as long as when it happened and then try with a pliers for extra grip(twisting), a bad idea would be to splice the wires with the wall chargers by cutting of the ends and joining them that way but you would need to now what you are doing

Nintendo ds lite

Hi,
you,ll pay more to have it repaired than to replace it.
I,d suggest buy a new one.
Keep the old one for spares.
Once motherboards/Circuitboards get soaked, it damages the boards/components/solder joints.
