I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. Bissell 9400 ProHeat Upright Wet/Dry Vacuum. The problem is that you may have a bad switch or pump in the vacuum or a release valve could be stuck or broken. What can I do and what part do I need to replace? I have taken it apart and clean it but still won't pickup the water.

I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. Bissell 9500 ProHeat 2X Clean Shot Upright. It sounds to me that you may have a clog or an obstruction or the channel to the suction motor per say might be broken and is not creating the suction needed to pickup the water to the recovery tank. So check with your local factory authorized vac dealer that carries and services Bissell. I will give you the Bissell factory phone # listed below for further questions. Can't find part # of o-ring about 1.5 feet long inside bottom of unit which had broken. Help.

I would like to know where I can take my Bissell ProHeat to have it clean and gone over as it doesn't **** up the dirty water like it used to. I don't want to have to drive a 100 miles to have it fix, as I am elderly.

You may want to call Bissell to get a vac dealer in your area to service your Bissell and some of the vac dealers offer pickup and delivery @ a reasonable cost and they will do the service on your Bissell. Not knowing where you are writing from call the phone #’s listed below and they should be able to further assist you. Or you may have to ship your vacuum to the factory or a local vac dealer to service your unit. Bissell Velocity Vacuum brushes stopped


The brush bearings wear out on these things. I know I replaced mine twice before buying new carpet. I've had it for 10 years,
