Warning letters H and F

Our washer shuts off in the middle of a cycle and flashes the letters H and F. We can pause and restart, but chances are it will do it several times during the cycle. Any suggestions?

Hi,

"FH" is a No Water Detect error. It is an indication that you either have no water coming into the washer, or very little water at all. Check whether the water taps are turned on sufficiently, the inlet hoses are not kinked, the water inlet valve is not clogged, you don't have a siphoning issue, and/or the drain pump is working.

Thank you !!

Testimonial: "Thanks---you response was very helpful. I'm going to try it right now (although there is plenty of water in the machine--hmmm). "

My Frigidaire Affinity washer stopped working in middle of cycle and shows PAU code.

'power strip'!! You can't run a washing machine from a power strip! It pulls far to many amps. Plug into a wall socket on its own.

PAU Error. The PAU, or pause, error usually means that the washing machine cycle was interrupted and was not restarted properly. If you try to modify the cycle or start a new one before the first cycle is complete, the PAU error will appear on the display.

Electrolux front loader washer ewd1477 flashing start/pause button. interrupted during wash cycle by power outage. start/pause button now flashes and won't start any cycle.

Try to turn circuit breaker off, or unplug unit, for about 5-6 minutes. This is a hard reset and should reset the internal controls to restart the unit properly.

My washer keeps stopping in the middle of the cycle and it is flashing 02 and the letter F. I hit pause and cancel and restart and it keeps doing it over and over. How can i solve this

First check your washer plug to see if the connections are tightly screwed. Next check your filter if you haven't for long.

Remove the 3 screws at the bottom of the front panel under the washer door. Your filter door will be light brown. If you find a hose there it is to drain out excess water (water that could not be drained by your pump) After you hv drained unscrew the cap and remove all the junk inside. Have a large plastic bag to catch junk and water. Refit carefully after cleaning out.

Washer will not restart cycle after a brief pause to add an item.

inspect the door latch assembly . you should see a plunger or switch that goes in and out as door shuts also should be a plastic stem that is mounted on the door that slides in and out of the latch assembly on the door

Washer Pauses and Shuts down Repeatedly

Check the cold water line into the unit. Remove the hose from the washer and clean the screen. flush the line while it is disconnected into a bucket or small garbage can. Your washer wont advance without a fill and most fills/rinses are with cold water
