Question about LG WM1812C Front Load Washer
When I moved into my apartment and examined the LG front-loader washer/dryer, I noticed that the little hose you're supposed to use to drain the water before you empty the lint trap was missing. So now every time I want to empty the lint filter, I have to put down a towel to catch the deluge of water. Could the hose have retracted back into the machine? If so, is there any way for me to retrieve it myself?
Yes, there are 2 ways to do it. The easiest way works only if the washer is NOT on a pedestal. Pull the washer out and tilt it back. Have someone you trust hold the washer leaned back while you crawl underneath the unit. Look for the 3/8" rubber hose and just shove it back into the hole where the drain hose is supposed to go. If that doesn't work, then you will have to disassemble the top, the control panel and the front panel to get to the hose.
