You should be able to save the documents generated under Vista based software into a format compatible with the XP version of the software. Open the document in Vista and check the options to "Save As" and select the format that is downward compatible with your XP version document software.
Let me know if you have any other problems or questions. Thanks.

I had to reload XP Pro, and someone loaded that

Try system restore. To do this go to Start->All programs-> Accessories->System Tools-> System Restore.
Choose a date to restore your computer settings before the change you made.

My DSL works fine except when I try to see a News Video. It loads a little at the time and then reloads again. During the reloading time the screen freezes and holds that position until it begins to reload...

It depends on the Speed that you have from your ISP
Go to www.speedtest.net and check your speed
If the speed is fine proceed as follows....

If XP--> Open Internet Explorer-->GO to internet options-->Delete Cookies, Delete Temp internet Files,Clear Cache

If Vista-->Open Internet Explorer-->GO to internet options-->Delete Temp Browsing history,Cookies,Cache etc

If MAC--> Clear private data

If Still not resolved do a complete powercycle

I installed xp as 2nd os with vista and now neithe of them works right--How can I take xp off and reload vista--I do not get a vista cd with my computer

You need to call your manufacturer and order a vista cd. Then you need to clear your hardrive using the partitioner provided with your vista cd. After that just follow the installation procedure

Sound driver

you may just need to reload your driver
if that don't work you'll have to put vista back on
i assume the system came with vista therefore it would have a more updated driver that may not be compatible with xp
let me know if you need anymore help

Sorry to inform you but you cant downgrade from vista to xp on this model I have found most systems that are designed to run vista lose several drivers when downgraded to xp.

the only solution that will restore drivers would be to reload vista by purchasing an upgrade version of vista (this allows an upgrade from xp to vista and will restore drivers only catch is your xp operating system must be xp home with sp2(service pack 2).

When you removed vista from your machine you actually downgraded by replacing the vista operating system with XP.
