Card locked shows of view finder, cannot take a picture it shows a't picture but won't take a picture

Look at the memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

My canon camera is not letting me download pictures. every time when i plug in to the computer it just shows busy signal. i don't know what is wrong with it.

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

I have an LG W40 Series monitor that won't come out of power saving mode when connected to my PC. I used the D-Sub connection to the monitor output on the PC. How do I get the monitor to work?

Sounds like the monitor is not getting a signal from your computer. Do you have another computer you can test it with? Sometimes if the display resolution is set too high on the computer, the monitor may not sync to that signal.

Please rate this solution to show your appreciation!

I have a linksys PCI card WMP54G. Worked fine for 1 year now it will not connect. Other wireless computers still get stong signal from router. Checking control panel "wireless connection 7 Not connected,...

This is something to try:

Download drivers for your wireless device from this website. Afterward uninstall your wireless adapter. Then re-install it using the drivers you just downloaded. That should repair the issue(s), if not let me know and we'll take a look at other possibilities.
