I have a toshiba laptop and a sony vaio wireless keyboard but dont have the setup disc to install the driver for the keyboard

Do a google search for the model of the wireless keyboard. That said, if the keyboard came from another computer, say a Sony all-in-one I don't think it will work with your laptop unless you have a USB dongle that came with the keyboard.

We put the disc in and nothing has happened to show/tell us how to get the wireless keyboard and mouse to work, what next.m

When you insert the software disc, most computers are set to autorun what's inserted into the disc drive. If yours is not enabled, you can insert your disc, go to My Computer, and right click on the drive with the CD, and click on Open, this should allow you to access the information on the cd. Just click on the setup.exe, and you should start installing in no time!

My Microsft Wireless Comfort Keyboard 4000 is not registering letters when the key is struck. New Batteries installed. Completely random and frequent.

if you are using it with a laptop, they have issues where the USB port can not power the reciever. If that is the case, i would recommend a powered USB hub. Otherwise, completely remove all of the software, take out all of the batteries, reboot the PC, install the software again and repair the devices.

Does the Wireless Keyboard and Mouse, model # C-BB3-DUAL, require a install disc?

Just for your information, all devices require drivers to be installed. Drivers are small software written to enable the computer to control the device. Otherwise how do you tell a device to do a task for you. Something has to translate your requirements into the language that the device understands. And that is what the drivers do. Since the wireless keyboard and mouse are foreign devices, they have to be controlled by their drivers. Hence a CD with the required drivers may have come with the devices. And they need to be installed. And if by any chance you have misplaced the CD that came withit then go to
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/478/3364&cl=my,en?softwareid=643&osid=2
and download the drivers and burn to a CD for future use.

I need to install a new Logitech wireless keyboard to one computer and a Microsoft wireless keyboard to another computer. HOw do I do this without the install disk?

Try and plug it in anyway.Windows have lots of drivers pre installed in the O.S. so you might find it will load without a disc. If not you may need another comp and download the drivers from logitech or where ever, and burn to a disc to load on yours. good luck JLS

Wireless keyboard

When it comes to installation disks, driver disks, and other operational disks, a replacement one can usually be purchased and/or downloaded directly from the manufacturer's website. So in your case, you could check out the Mac site or the Nexxtech site for further information. If you're still at a loss, contact their costomer service. I'm sure if this issue has happened to you, it has most likely happened to someone else as well, and they should be able to help you out. And, if by chance, this disk was supposed to be included with the keyboard yet failed to be inside the packaging, it may be just be a fluke and you can get one if you ask. Hope this helps, but it is only a suggestion.
