1.use the start button from the start menu depending on your operating system(win 2000,xp)
2.use Ctrl+Alt+delete combination from the keyboard.
3.if you have a power button on your laptop keyboard,it could also be useful by pressing and hold it down for 4 seconds

Immediately u start up the laptop before it attempt booting,press the conbination of the following keys:F2,F10 or Delete key it will take you to your system setup utility, then follow the screen instruction to help you get to fatory default
