Question about Dell Inspiron 1525 Notebook
I have a Dell laptop. When we tried to start it we keep getting a screen that says windows did not open sucessfully safe mode or any of the other options work it just starts back up and goes to this screen over and over . Does anyone know what I can do? The computer did not come with recovery disk But I need some of the files that are on this computer. I don't know what to do
You most likely need to re-install Windows using a Dell Recovery CD to get your computer operating again. This process will delete your data unless the data is stored on another partition on the hard drive.
To recover your data before re-installing Windows, remove the hard drive from the computer and attach the hard drive to an USB hard drive adapter and connect it to a working computer's USB port. This computer will see this as an external haed drive, you can then open the various folders and files to copy and back them up. After you have completed this task, return the hard drive to the Dell computer and try to fix the computer.
