turn off computer, when computer reboots, start tapping on the f8 key until the advanced boot option menu appears and follow instrictions.

Te mini should have a small hidden restore partition. Re-start the computer and press the F10 key when you see the HP start screen. this should take you into the HP recovery console. Follow the onscreen instructions to restore factory defaults.

THIS ABOVE SOLUTION IS WRONG, I USE WINDOWS XP ON MY DELL NETBOOK AND NOTHING HAPPENS WHEN I FOLLOW YOUR INSTRUCTION ...!!!!!!!!!

if is using windows vista or windows 7 you can usually press F8 on power up. from there you can roll back you laptop to a previous date or you can do a factory reset which will take your laptop to like it was when it first left the factory.
