The AutoFill icon has within it an old email address. How do I change that old address. I have tried TOOLS / Intenet Conections and the General Tab. Those areas only delete AutoFill data on forms and passwords. How do I change the old email address?

- When using AutoFill the email address entered is wrong. I did highlight that field on a form but when pressing the down arrow, there is no list of address'. There is nothing I can delete. I can delete the old address in the selected field and add my new address but the next time I use AutoFill I get the old email address again.

- I still have the problem with Windows Internet Browser 7 - the AutoFill icon. I have tried Tools-Options-General Tab and deleted Forms, Passwords, Temp files and Cookies. I still have the old email address inserted when I use the AutoFill.

- DWARFSOFT: Thanks for your input, your comments helped me realize what I am looking at is a "Google" tool bar at the top of my browser page. I did find a way to change the settings and I think my problem is solved. Thanks again.
In Internet Explorer you can select the field that has the email address in it, press the down arrow key to highlight an address in the list, and hit the delete key to remove that address from ever being used (until it is reentered into that box that is).

- So you have gone into Tools-Options-General tab. Then clicked on the Delete Button. Out of the Options have you done the "Delete Forms"? "Delete Passwords"? If you have tried both of those, have you then tried "Delete Cookies"? It may be that the email address is being loaded from a cookie in the Browsers cookie folder.
Give that a try and see how you go.

- What is confusing me is where you say "when I use AutoFill". This sounds like it is a seperate piece of software, as ranvens was alluding to. You may need to open up that software or plugin and clear out the stored data in there. If you have already cleared out this Data in the General Tab then it is most likely not Internet Explorers fault.
Additionally, try uninstalling the plugin by going to control panel->add remove programs and trying to find it in there (may be called "AutoFill" or something like that).
