Question about Candy CNW136 Front Load Washer/Dryer
Hi I have the above washer/drver and although it is still washing/rinsing etc it is making a terrible clunking noise (as if something is loose inside).
Could you tell me what might be wrong. The machine is only 18 months old and has not been used very much and has been well taken care of. also when is spins it make a very load noise.
Will it be expensive to repair or is it something small.
18 months isn't enough for a bearing to die so I guess that perhaps a shock absorber snapped or got disconnected from the drum or machine casing. It is not an expensive part and can be replaced by experienced DIY guy. Perhaps the bolt and nut which hold the shock absorber haven't been tightened properly in factory so in time they got loose completely before falling off. I'm just guessing. Call a repairman to take a look at it and don't use it before it gets repaired.
