Do you still have your battery working? if not, you may have a problem with the adapter. could be a partial contact from the main adapter or at the charging port on your laptop. use a tester and check for continuity on the adapter cable and also check the power output going into the laptop.

My battery wont charge

I use mine almost exclusively plugged in. You can "cook" a battery this way. Think of batteries as having only so many recharge cycles. Like the turn signals on your car will eventually come to the end of it's life, so don't sit through a red light with it blinking for three minutes before you get a green light and make your turn, I turn mine on just before the light turns green. I also take my battery out about every third day and run it only on the AC adapter, giving the battery a rest.

Model# kf-50we620 no sound,no picture, red light blinking 3 time.and replace light bulb.

Hi,

The Standby/Power light of the TV blinks when there is any internal malfunction in the TV. The self-diagnostic function of the TV will cause the STANDBY light to blink or flash when the television detects an issue. The number of times the STANDBY light flashes corresponds to a specific issue.

Few examples are given below; some of the issues may be resolved without the need for service.
1 blink / 2 blinks / 5 blinks: - This indicates that there may be a power-related problem with your set.
3 blinks: - This indicates that there may be a power-related problem with your set. The set will need to be serviced to allow a technician to determine the specific issue that needs to be repaired. If the power light flashes three times in sequence in a Lamp TV, the lamp cover is not securely attached. Reattach the lamp cover to resolve this issue.
4 blinks: - This indicates that there may be a back light or lamp power problem.
6 blinks: - This indicates that there is some kind of audio problem with your set.
7 blinks: - This indicates that there is a temperature problem with your set. Please check to make sure that the air vents on the sides and back of the set are not blocked or clogged and there is adequate ventilation around the television. We recommend that you check and clean the vents periodically to make sure the set receives adequate air flow. If the problem continues, the set will need to be serviced.
8 blinks: - This indicates that there may be a video-related problem with your set. If the flash sequence is not listed above or the light continues to flash, follow the steps below to perform a power reset:
Try the following steps to check if the issue can be resolved.
Turn off the television.
Unplug the television power cord from the electrical outlet.
Let the television remain without power for 60 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet.

If the television is plugged into a power strip or surge protector, remove it from the power strip or surge protector and plug it directly into the wall outlet. If the issue is resolved, the problem is with the power strip or surge protector and not the television.

If the issue continues to occur, service may be required.

I have a dell inspiron 1150 when i connect the charger the battery and the power light keeps on blinking and nothing happens oh turning the power button

Sounds like the adapter is being overloaded ... Dell is one of 2 or 3 manufacturers using a 3 wire adapter plug jack. And ... well ... lets say they can be problematic ... it's a great system but very sensitive to battery malfunctions. I suggest you remove the battery then pug the adapter in ... if all is OK then have the battery checked

My caplock light blinks and i can not turn on the labtop the light for the power cord just blinks to i cald dell and got no help there i have the dell ispiron 1501

Remove all drives, Modem, Wireless card and Memory, see if the error changes. If it changes, *** 1 memory module back and see if the system will POST, if no go try the other. If you can get the system to post, then add items back one at a time till you ID the broken item. and replace it. If the system never completes post during troubleshooting, then replace the motherboard.

Laptop will not turn on

Unplug the ac adapter from the back of the computer. Make sure it's plugged to an electric outlet. check if the ac adapter light is solid green. if not. then you have to replace it.

If it is solid green, reconnect it to the computer, if the light on the adapter goes out as soon as you plug it in to the system, you need to replace the motherboard. call dell to seek your options for replacement.

Laptop won't turn on

The blinking orange battery light generally indicates that the battery isn't working properly, usually going out and not charging properly. In this case, since the adapter will not power the machine without the battery, and it should, I'm going to say that the adapter is going out and not getting the proper amount of power to the system. Try replacing the adapter. Be sure to replace it with a Dell replacement, the Targus brand universal adapters do not work well with Dell machines, and in most cases won't work at all.
