Question about ASUS Laptop Keyboard for Asus A3, A6, A9, Z81, Z9, Z91, A3000
I am not touching the mouse pad when I type. I didn't have this problem before while writing 12-14 page papers and now all the sudden- while typing the cursor jumps back and retypes in the same sentence or somewhere all over the document. I took it to best buy and they said they will have to ship it off for 2 weeks, I don't have time for that, and curious if there is a simple solution. It took me too long to even type this message with the words/letters just typing where ever they want to.
This may be either a keyboard error, a short in the mouse pad a loose connection on either or even both. Although I cant walk you through the step by step on the Asus, to take it apart there is away around it.
Turn off the onboard mouse and before you do that install or use a different mouse. here are some others who have had the same problem and what they did.
