Error message of SC542

The problem is related to fusing temperature.

To resolve the problem, enter the SP mode : press the keys as per sequence given :

<clear modes(yellow)> <1> <0> <7>
keep STOP (red) key preseed for 3 seconds,
enter copy SP mode, Use OK or # keys.
press : 5 # 8 1 0 #
change the value from 0 to 1
turn the machine OFF and ON.

If the problem reoccurs, ckeck electrical connections in fuser.
check thermister, thermostat, fusing lamp etc. with the help of multimeter.
replace the defective parts in the fuser
