This could be a capacitor if your lucky but can also be the horizontal transistor. The repair could cost you between 60$ and 150$
My opinion; it's not worth it.

can sound be heard from headphone socket when a headphone plug is inserted if so headphone socket is faulty or the lound speaker,

Tips for a great answer:
