The virus may be hiding in your "protected" system restore files.
You need a few programs, you need to turn system restore "OFF" and run scans in safe mode with network (F8 on boot).

Dell inspiron has no display and beeps four times and then pauses and beeps four more times

This is normally a memory error. Turn off the computer, and open the side of the case. Pull and re-seat all memory chips. Turn power on, if it still beeps. Turn off power, pull all the memory chips and re-seat one only. Turn on power if it beeps againg, pull the chip out and try the other one. Repeat for all chips. If you find any that do not cause the beep issue, you have found your bad memory chip. If not, try the same one at a time memory test in a different slot on the computer. If no beeps, then its a bad slot and dont use that memory slot.

If none of this works; as unlikely as it seems you could have all bad memory chips, or a bad mother board.

This is a hardware failure, not a virus or any other software problem - the motherboard of your laptop has died and it will have to be replaced. Beware, that's gonna cost a lot: get a quote before accepting the repair, otherwise you might found out that it would have been cheaper just to buy a new one.

It may not be a virus. It sounds more like a bad case of spyware. You may want to download, install, update, and run something like Malwarebytes AntiMalware. It sounds pretty serious, so it may need the attention of a PC technician to fully remove the infection.

Hope this helps!

Virus problem

Hi, viruses are quite easy to remove, and shouldnt cost you anything if done correctly.

uninstall any virus software you have, download this software and install it
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Antivirus/Panda-Antivirus-Titanium.shtml
update it and scan the whole system, it will pick them up and remove them, then once its took off as many as it can, uninstall this virus check and install a different one like this

http://us.trendmicro.com/us/products/

do one more scan and your as good as new...

you dont have to change the virus checker the second time, but alot of virus checker dont always pick up them all so always better to scan with two different ones to make sure there all off..

All the best

John

Funnyust scandal

I have found several sites that refer to the same tool (remover.zip) which can be found here (amongst other sites):

http://conradmiguel.com/funny-ust-scandal

I do not have the "virus" and am not willing to open the zip file (just in case I am actually downloading a Trojan).

Give it a try. It seems from some of the other posts that I read that not even reformatting the hard drive will get rid of it. I had this same problem with the Dyfuca "virus" a few years ago and had to Zero the hard drive to start again (this removes everything from the hard drive including the boot sector - makes the hard drive like one just bought from the shop).

Good luck.

Updates

1)Go to control panel 2)Click Security Settings 3)Then turn on your Automatic updates. If this dont solve ur problem then go for this: 1) remove all the temporary files from pc. By going to Start->Run->%Temp% delete all files. Then remove the software by searching its name in 'regedit' and then resintall it. to go 'regedit': Start->Run->regedit
