I have a 1990 Eagle Talon AWD, I am trying to get it ready to sell. It has been sitting for a couple of months without being started and has drained a brand new battery completely. This is the second time it has happened when it is not used regularly. I presume something must be draining it by having a loose wire touching something metal. I haven't seen anything obvious, how can I pin point this? The car runs great when I get it started.
The controllers in the vehicle draw a small amount of power even if the car is not running, probably enough to drain a battery over a long period of time, when you store a car it is recommended to charge the battery at least once a month
