Question about Sony Network Walkman NW-A1200 MP3 Player
So I'll have to be briefer this time.
Basically, I believe that if it doesn't get past the Every Moment has its Music screen then it is 99.9% hard drive fault in my humble opinion. If it won't get to the main menu then you cannot properly reformat it. If you can, go to Settings, up button once onto re-initialize hard disk and proceed twice with yes and yes. Please be aware though that this will erase all your songs though.
Not sure that I'm allowed to advertise our services here but we sell these on eBay and the majority of the ones we buy in (customer returns) need the hard drive replacing which is also a service we offer.
We're in England so shouldn't be a problem.
All the best

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
