Question about iRiver PMP-120 Digital Media Player
My iriver x20 freezes when switched on - i read a solution regarding the firmware. I now have the firmware ready to install but now a new problem - when I have either iplus 3 or even WMP (which is what is to load music onto the iriver) it doesn't show the device as being connected even though with the usb cable etc all plugged in to where it should be. Please advise how I can rectify this problem - ie how do delete the library (reformatting) when it wont even recognise that the device is connected????
When you connect the PMP to the computer does it say your new device is ready for use or something else like 'the device has malfunctioned'?
I have the same issue that frequently the computer won't see the PMP. Keep trying it sometimes works. If not then its likely that the harddisk is dead or dying.
