Question about Kenmore Washing Machines
I have a Kenmore Elite HE 3t washer. It has flashed various error codes: F70 and F02, which seem to indicate a problem w/one or more of the boards. Now it displays F02 and won't start. Can a DIYer diagnose & replace the boards, or should I call for service? The boards, but not the labor, are still under warranty.
Thanks for using FixYa. Both the errors are quite different F70 error indicates central control unit heartbeat failure i.e. no communication has been detected from the Central control unit to the user interface board. F/02 error means Long Drain. If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes, the water valves are turned off and "F/02" is flashed. Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display and before you call for service please:
