Maybe your screen resolution doesn't match with the monitor resolution , so minimize you're screen resolution
maybe you can try with 800 * 600 and go up one by one and see which maximun it support

The pc starts and loads. Then the blue windows xp screen comes up and it wont do anything else exept let me move my mouse pointer around the screen

Restart your computer and then press and hold F8 keys until you get Advanced Options menu screen.Use the arrow key to highlight Safe Mode, and then press Enter, your computer will boot automatically to safe mode.
If you able to start in the safe mode then you need to update all your drivers and install all windows updates from Windows update and scan your computer for viruses! And I also suggest you to run CMD as administrator and write in CMD without quotes"sfc/scannow"
this will fix blue screen error.
If problem still exists, then get the reliable program like PC Fresher to fix your annoying blue screen problem.

Change input timing for monitor when i can't do anything

Hi Austin
it sounds as though you have a problem with your graphics card drivers and your tv will not accept the lower resolution. Do you have another screen that you can connect to prove/disprove my theory? If your tv will not accept the lower resolution input then you need another screen to enable you to sort it out. Hope this is helpful.

Screen is black, white square is moving around says "Not optimum mode Recommended mode : 1280x1024 60 Hz' Analog"

Hi,

Your resolution has been to a "not supported" range. You can try to boot to safe mode by pressing F8 while booting. While in safe mode, go to device manager and look for your video adapter there. Delete the driver for it and reboot the computer.

That should reset it for you.

Hope this works for you.

My Monitor keeps blinking off and digital pops up in the corner of my screen

Is that your screen saver. You can set it to not come on so frequently by right clicking desktop and going properties, screen saver, then change it to come on say every hour or something. If you get something saying " no signal input " It means there is something wrong internally. Could be graphics card, ram, motherboard screws and other things.

I have lg s1 pro express dual notebook. the lcd screen fickers in multiple images & then goes to vertical lines of colors. if i press on corner of case around the screen, i can get it to work. do i...

Parts that can be involved are LCD display, display ribbon cable, or in worst case graphic chipset on motherboard.
If the problem goes on and off when pressing LCD display enclosure, then it can just be the display cable or the LCD itself.
The computer must be taken apart to find out what is causing the problem. First you try adjusting display ribbon cable, then, if moving cable problem goes away, but you cannot fix it, you replace the cable that costs few dollars. If this still does not work you replace the display.
Cheapest replacement can usually be found on Ebay.

If you want a program that is easy to use and that would allow you to disable screensavers quickly and then easily enable them, Hot Corners is right for you. It's a small tool letting you control screensavers in three ways:
  • by moving the mouse into one of the screen corners
  • by pressing a combination of keys on your keyboard
  • by clicking an icon in the system
U CAN CONTROL UR SCRSVR NOW
