When I select to a meeting link it doesn't connect and I receive an error 'Internet explorer has stopped working.

Have you tried with a different web browser? Download Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome and see whether it is the website that has a problem or just Internet Explorer.

Alternatively:
  • Click on Start menu
  • Click on All Programs
  • Click on Accessories
  • Click on System Tools
  • Click on Internet Explorer (no add-ons)
This will rule out an add-on being responsible for your browser crash. You may find that by either installing a newer version or rolling back to a previous version of Internet Explorer will work as well.

Tabbed Browsing Tip

With the introduction of Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 all major browsers now support tabbed browsing. Below are various tips to improve your browsing using tabs.

1. Clicking on any link with your middle mouse button or wheel will open that link in a new tab. Alternatively you can hold down your CTRL key in IE and Firefox and click a link to open that link in a new tab.
2. Clicking on an open tab with your middle mouse button will close that tab.
3. Mozilla Firefox users can middle-click the back button to open a previous page in a new tab.
4. Pressing CTRL + T will open a new tab in IE, Firefox, and Opera.
5. Pressing CTRL + Shift + T will undo the closed tab. Alternatively right clicking on a portion of the tab bar will also display this option.
6. Firefox and IE users can hold down CTRL and press 1 through 0 on their keyboard to open that respected tab.
7. Right-clicking the active tab will give you an option to close all other non-active tabs.

Hope this will be a useful tip.

Thanks & Regards
Nandu :)

When i log on it does not show the inbox its like a blank page

If this problem never happened before, you may try optimizing your Internet browser by clearing the Cookies, History and Internet Files. To do this, please follow the steps below:

* For Internet Explorer:
1. Run IE > Tools > Internet Options.
2. Locate the Browsing History portion and click the Delete button.
3. Delete the Cookies, Temporary Internet Files and History
4. Click on OK > close the IE.
5. Re-open IE > try accessing your Yahoo e-mail again.

* For Mozilla Firefox:
1. Run Firefox > Tools > Clear Recent History...
2. Click the drop-down arrow > select 'Everything'
3. Click on 'Clear Now' > close the Firefox.
4. Re-open Firefox > access your Yahoo mail.

Hope this helps you resolving the problem!

INSTALL ERROR - THE INSTALLER COULD NOT LOCATE A SUITABLE FOLDER TO INSTALL INTO

Try this:

The issue seems to be related to a Windows Security Update. Our engineers are working on this.

Can I get you to ask your client to try the following:

After clicking the link to join your meeting.

Select the option to manually download the software and save the executable somewhere you can find it easily. Most people prefer to save the file to their desktop.

Next, right click on the icon and select “Run As…”

Finally, DESELECT the option to “Protect my computer from unauthorized program activity.”

And select OK.

You should be able to connect into the meeting.

You can also try joining the meeting through a different browser such as firefox.

Hang

hi this is kamal. pls do these steps: 1. Close all browser windows and open a new one. 2. Clear your browser's cache including temp files, cookies, and history. If you do not know how then follow the instructions on the help page for the specific browser and browser version you are using: http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browse? 3. Close that browser window and reboot your computer. Open a new browser window and sign into your Yahoo Mail here: http://mail.yahoo.com/ 4. If you are still having a problem with the website, try an alternative browser such as Firefox. It is always good to have an alternative browser so you can test and check to see if your problem is browser specific. Here is the link to get Firefox: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ie.? Also read these help pages from Yahoo Mail help: Why does my browser try to load a page, but never finish? http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ya? My all-new Yahoo! Mail feels sluggish lately and takes a while to load. What could be causing this? http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ya? regards kamal singh

Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system.but I have no Firefox window open what should i do?

HIt cntrl alt delete to open task manager (or right click on the taskbar) and look at the processes running. You will find Firefox is running although you dont currently have the browser window open. Click on Firefox in the task manager and close it out. Then close the task manager and you'll be able to open Firefox again. This is a common problem with Firefox. It happens in IE as well but for some reason, you can still open IE.
Hope this settles your problem. All the best!
