Hi, you have problem in lens Focus maybe the gear focus was stuck up becuase of sand or dust that goes inside of your camera. what you need to do is:

1. try to reset the camera to default setting-maybe you make some wrong setting to your camera-kindly check if the problem still occur.
2. clean the lens glass-maybe there's a moisture or a finger print from the glass of the lens -check
3.if the problem still occur you need to check if your camera are still coverd by the warranty. If yes bring to service center and for sure this will covered by warranty of if they charge you with minimum charges.

good luck and thank you my friend

Why do I get blurry pictures on screen even when I'm focusing.

Go to MENU. Then TOOLS. Make sure Motion Detection is in AUTO.
If that is on AUTO then Put the camera on a hard surface (like tripod) and focus and see if image is still blurry. Lastly, it is difficult to focus in some conditions. Move the focus point, you can click on the screen to change it. Blur can be caused by: long exposures, camera motion during photograph, bad conditions unable to focus.

The focus routine in this camera gets confused often. It can be frustration. It will only be in focus when it is GREEN before you shoot and the camera is not shaking. At night it can take great night shots with a TRIPOD and Exposure set to -1 to -2.

Why is the image in the view finder blurry

There could be several reasons.

The camera isn't focused. Adjust the focus.

The diopter is not set properly. Some cameras have a viewfinder diopter adjustment. This is similar to putting eyeglasses on the camera. Just as things will look blurry to you if you look through someone else's glasses, the viewfinder will be blurry if the diopter is not set properly for your vision. I wish I could tell you how to adjust this (or even whether your camera has it) but since you didn't bother to specify the model of your Olympus camera...

Picture comes out blurry

There are three main reasons for blurry pictures.
Pictures may come out blurry if they're not focused properly. If some objects are sharp and others are not, this may indicate focusing on the wrong subject. This is usually not a major problem with compact point&shoot cameras since they have such a wide field of focus that almost everything will be in focus anyway.
Subject motion. If moving objects blur while stationary objects remain sharp then the shutter speed is too slow to freeze the motion. Try switching to the sports mode, and/or add more light.
Camera motion. This is the most common cause. Set your camera on a table or other stable surface and use the self-timer to take a picture. Take another one while holding the camera. Compare the two on your computer.

My pictures are coming out blurry and i didnt drop it or anything

Make sure that the camera is set to auto-focus. It is possible that the camera was put on manual focus and now each picture is taken out of focus resulting in blurry pictures. This setting shuld be found in the menu settings or on the back of the camera. Check in the menu options first. Let me know if this does not work. Thanks!

VIEW SCREEN IS SO BLURRY I CAN'T TELL WHAT ITS SHOWING.

Is it the viewfinder (that you hold up to your eye) or the screen that's blurry?
If the viewfinder is blurry, there should be a diopter adjustment to fix it, probably right above the rubber eye cup.
If the screen is blurry, you should take some pictures and video and view them on a computer. I they are sharp on the computer but blurry on the camera screen, there may be a problem with the screen and you may need to take it in for repair.
If the pictures are blurry on the computer as well, the camera may not be focusing properly. If you can't focus manually, or the camera can't focus when auto focus is turned on, you have good light, and aren't too close to your subject, then it may need to be serviced.

FUZZY & BLURRY PICTURES.

It could be the focusing, did you check the focus every time? A slow shutter speed also causes blurry pictures. I know you do use your tripod, but if you don't use the self-timer function or a shutter cable then you are not using the tripod properly. Also, check the front piece of glass in the lens, clean it if it has stains or whatever on it.

Blurry Pictures

There are several factors that can contribute to getting better focus and improved results. 1. Auto Focus / Auto Exposure lock. Press the shutter button down HALF WAY. The camera will attempt to adjust exposure to the current lighting environment for maximum benefit. Then the camera will automatically correct the focus based on objects in the center of the display. If the camera can automatically set the focus and exposure, the LED by the viewfinder will turn GREEN. If the camera can not adjust the settings automatically, the LED will turn RED. This process usually takes about two to three seconds. 2. Be sure not to cover the sensor on the front of the camera with your finger. This will disable the automatic focus and exposure controls. 3. Only us the MACRO MODE (Flower Icon) for CLOSE-UP photography. Be sure to use MACRO MODE if you are taking pictures of an object at less than six inches away. Using MACRO MODE improperly will result in poor focus. 4. Rely on the Rear LCD Display. When in doubt, trust the LCD. The LCD will display the subject more accurately than the viewfinder. This will help with "framing" the subject, or determining if you have enough light for proper exposure. 5. Motion can cause a "blur" effect. Either motion of the subject, or motion by the photographer. This phenomenon is just like traditional photography. Moving objects may appear to blur, and this will be even more evident in lower lighting situations as the shutter speed slows down to allow for more light. The shutter will react faster in bright light, and motion will not be as apparent.
