We have checked thermostat, dryer will runbutwon't heat.
Hi,
Often a dryer heating element burns out, but doesn't trip the circuit breaker or blow a fuse. The heating element is simply a long coil of special wire. You can check it for continuity with an ohm meter. No continuity means the element is bad and you need to replace it--electric heating elements aren't repairable. On many dryers, there's a thermal fuse mounted to the exhaust duct inside the back cover panel. The fuse which is about an inch long is usually embedded in black resin and mounted in a white plastic housing. If the fuse has blown, you need to replace it. (You can't re-set it.)
Thank you !!

It's not likely that wires are crossed since they're usually cut close to proper length, but it might be a factor. If the element, thermostat and thermal cut-off have checked out ok, you might have a problem with the timer or motor.
Before replacing those, make sure you have 240V at the outlet.
Good luck.

You have to troubleshoot the circuit components with a voltmeter to find out which part is failing. Most likely one of the sensors is failing and can easily be replaced. There is no way to know which part is failing without using a meter to test the parts while the circuit is operating
SOURCE: TAKING THE TOP OFF A FRIGIDAIRE LEQ642DS0 STACKABLE DRYER
Hello, there are metal clips holding the top down, push a screw driver under the lip on the front of the top about 3 inchs from each end, now lever it up at each end, it will pop up. You can then lean it back and take the front off, there are two screws 1 either side behind the front panel inside the machine. if you have any other questions please feel free to comment again. Good Luck!! Mike

Thank you for your inquiry, friend!
Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire dryer is not heating. This could be a potential issue with your heating element, timer, or thermostat. In order to accurately check each part you would need to disassemble your dryer and test each piece for the proper continuity. This is not a simple DIY job and I would highly suggest contacting a professional technician comes out for proper diagnosis and repair. Best of luck! -Matt
