Make google my homepage

Internet Explorer: 1:Open the browser and go to Google
2:At the top right corner of your browser is a symbol that looks like a gear, if you put your mouse over it, it should say "tools" clicking on this will open a small window.
3:In the new window look for "Internet Options" and click on that.
This will open "Internet Options" It should open to the "General" tab and there is a box with a picture of a house next to it.
4:If you are at Google, click on use current and it will change your homepage automatically.

Google earth says i don't have a graphics card

You may have an onboard graphics controller built into the motherboard and not a PCIe board physically connected to a slot dependent card. Google requires a High definition video processor to replicate Google Earth photos. The resolution needs to be approximately 1600 Pixels x 1200 Pixels or greater. You can get an inexpensive Color Card from TigerDirect.Com, plug it into the slot on the motherboard and attach your monitor to it. If you can get HD resolution 1900 Pixels plus, the visuals are excellent.

Which connectors are used for front panel, power on (red @white) and led ( blue @ white) please show a close-up view

Hi,
On the motherboard the pinouts on the front panel should be colour coded, and marked with letters like in this picture >>>>>
ce10baf.jpg

The connectors are also marked corresponding to where the connect on the motherboard, like in this picture >>>>>>

If the board is not colour coded then the motherboard will marked with the same letters, you may need a strong light to see the marks.

Regards.

Google Earth disappeared after updating Adobe Reader 9

Try to do a system restore, this should help you to get the application back. On the start search, type restore, select system restore, on the system restore screen choose the option which says select another restore point, hit next, choose the restore point when the system was working fine, hit next, let the computer go through the restore process. When computer restarts normally, you should be able to use the google earth.
For any additional help with your hp computer you can alway visit hp.com/support and get a free chat support.
Hope you find this information helpful.

Error Code 0x80004005

The issue is with google earth, is a fault in the software that comes up with certain windows installation.

I report from Google groups:

"
It sounds like Google Pack might be having an issue with installing
Google Earth. You can try downloading Google Earth directly at
http://dl.google.com/earth/client/current/GoogleEarthWin.exe

If you're unable to download anything with Google Pack, you may want
to try looking in the awesome Google Pack Help Center for more
information. You can find the Google Pack Help Center at
http://www.google.com/support/pack/?hl=en"

Also do the following, install it manually from

Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Add Program from CD/Floppy Diskette

thanks

Hello hblaser,

Not sure how to rid the problem, but HERE is a link to Google Earth Support. Get in touch with them..they should be able to resolve your issue.

Should you have any further questions, please feel free to post them here.

P.S. Before you assign a rating, please make sure that the issue is resolved or you are satisfied. If not, please post back as to what you did, and/or any other questions you may have, and I will try to assist you as best I can. Please do not assign an ‘Inappropriate’ or ‘Thanks for trying’ rating if your issue is not resolved after the first response itself, as sometimes a bit of to and fro dialogue may be necessary before we can find a fix or an answer to your query.
