I installed a (mac os lion). In my hp mini's

You need to re install your windows operating system. You can use OSx on IBM compatible systems but then you will face problems with leagality. Apple don't want you to run their OS on something that isn't made by them. Even though all of the parts are the same (just cheaper) If you are lucky you may have a restore partition on your system, to access this you need to restart and press "F8" then pick "restore to default(or factory)" Hope you are lucky.

Im looking for wusb54gc driver for win 7.

Look on the underside, where the model # is located. There should be a HW Rev # (Hardware Revision #) either 1.0, 2.0, or 3.0 for this model. I think I have seen these without any HW REV # and in that case I think it was the 3.0 that I used.

Follow this link:
http://www.linksysbycisco.com/EU/en/support/WUSB54GC/download

and select your HW Rev #. and then under where it says downloads select your version of windows 7 (32 or 64 bit).
If you are not sure click start/right click computer and click properties. Under the header of system look for 32 or 64 bit Operating System.
It will be a zipped file so open it, click unzip all files, then plug in your device. There is no installation program, so you need to tell your PC where the driver files are. Typically I save downloaded files to the download location, so the path would be C:\users\(your name)\downloads, but if you download it somewhere else make a note of it so you know where to point the program to.
once you've done that click next and it should finish installing on its own.
Good luck, and feel free to re-post if you have more problems!

What are the requirments for installing Linux System

Linux is much more HW friendly than MS Windows. There are no requirements generally. You may need the following:-
5 to 6 GB of **** space. 1 Gb of RAM should be more than enough.
May I suggest some options to you?
1. Go to www.custom.nimblex.com. Here you can customize your linux version. Ask for whatever you want from the list and you can download a .iso file which can be burnt to a bootable CD. This live CD can be inserted into any computer and boot from it in linux of your choice.
2. Go to www.knoppix.com and download the latest version of linux as a .iso file and then burn to a CD to make a live knoppix CD.
Both these options are cheap and very versatile. You can use them to boot any computer.

Every time I open my pc,black screen displays. Then after the OS displays after that nothing. & after a minute it repeatedly displays the same. What' the problem with my pc?

The PC boot detection can be troubleshooted in stages.

I am just getting the process explained here. If your boot issue falls in any of the below said stages, Please do the needful as per the suggestion.

Stage: 1 When the Signal chip on the motherboard initialize the post operation and it checks for the Motherboard powersupply, baised on the Bios manufacturer you get a signal once the POST (Power on Self Test) finishes.

Suggession: If there is any problem at this point, the system hangs\or stops working as Bios wouldnt start its routines. You may have to contact a HW Engineer to find the solution.

Once the POST is done successfully, the Bios is initialised with the Routines to run a check on the motherboard, ports, devices attached and it inspects all chipsets and hardware details of the system.
This point you will see the tiny LE-diode flashing on keyboard and other attached devices. Cmos is loaded with the detailed HW information. As a heirarchy of inspecting the Hardware, it checks for the Audio first and then the Video chipset and status.
Any beep heard multiple or single long at this point could also be due to the failure of Display chipset or port or device. As the system cannot indicate the failure it uses audio. Here your VGA once detected it starts giving you either a non-graphic or graphic display of whats happening inside the system. (Boot process). Suggessions: Any issues at this stage needs to be fixed either on HW or Peripherals attache or finally on Bios if corrupt.

Once Bios routine is done the control transfers to a small program on Bios called bootstraploader which helps in finding the boot up files on the Active partition and initializing them. Here if it fails to find the boot files it shows the message usually known as "Non bootable disk"

Suggession: you can finalize understanding that the disk has no boot files or they are corrupt or the disk partition that has the boot files is not readable.

Suggession : 4: Once the windows starts loading and still it gets stuck at any point till you log on its all the OS files which plays its roles to get the system up. If there is a failure at this point, your OS is corrupt or has an issue. Suggession : Please do an OS Repair or at worst case and OS reinstallation. Hope this gives answers to your issue. Good Luck.

Windows 7 makes an annoying noise about every 5-10 minutes. like its letting me know im afk or something this is terribly annoying as im trying to sleep and such can i turn it off? what is it? ...

Windows 7 is an OS which has lots of upgradation done from the existing Windows XP and other versions and runs on longhorn and Vista principles. If you have a problem with annoying noise, it will be appreciable if you can give a clear picture on what noise it makes... is it a beep, or a jarring music, a fan speeding noise, or any Wav file played from its system audio files.

If it a fan speed increasing with loud noise, please check the compatibility of your Hardware with the OS. May be you have to update your BIOS to clear this out and most of the HW Drivers.

If its some audio file played, check for tracking down the file which is played and understand which program is initializing it by just looking at the backend process running and the threads utilized.

If its a noise which is neither a beep or a system Audio played and just a horrible sound from the speakers... Please check the HW ports for Audio by taking the Laptop \ Desktop to a HW engineer after updating the Audio Drivers. This will resolve your
Issue i believe. Do write back if you need any further assistance. Good Luck.

Problem installing xp

You can install both wista and xp in the same computer, better for this to create new partition (resize ild one and free some space and create partition in its place) then install XP created partition (partition create is possible professional tools paragon partition manager, norton partition magic or other).
afrer restart only XP works, then insert VISTA install cd and "fix boot"
Here is brief discussion about this VISTA>XP or XP>VISTA.
Take care of drivers may some of them dont be created for XP if your pc is super new.
