Question about HP Computers & Internet
Our daughter and lost her grip on her HP G60-232DX laptop. It dropped to the hardwood floor and the glass cracked. It lights up but the desktop looks like shattered shards of glass. If I buy a replacement for the screen, how difficult would it to be to replace the screen myself? What should I look for? What else should I be checking for damage?
It isnt hard at all to do. There are many walk throughs online to guide ya through. Just take your time and have patience. Other things you should look for (that i can think of) can only really be determined after you replace the lcd screen. Dropping a laptop like that can damage the hard drive and therefore losing data or your operating system.
