Water leaking from the seals of the bath tub... how to fix this problm? already removed the old sealant and put a new sealant, but still the water is coming from the bath seals....

...Why is this listed under videogame consoles? I'm no expert on this subject, but did you double check to make sure you did a thorough job? Heres an idea. Put a bunch of towels near the sealant, fill with water, and wait a little bit. then find the wettest towel; that should help you pinpoint the leak.

Playstation 3 keeps freezing on the homescreen wont load up

If you have a warranty on it use it to get a replacement, do not break the seal on the end of the PS3 as it would void any warranties offered. Sony will offer you a replacement at a discounted price on a refurbished PS3. You have to send in your PS3 and pay I think 180 or 190 US dollars. If the seal on the end is damaged I dont think Sony will exchange it. There are no user friendly/serviceable parts inside and the leading cause of failure is thermal paste failure, it cooks out and the chips inside no longer cool like they should. I think its a built in failure because the PS2's lasted forever (except the controllers)

After taking apart the console to get out a piece of paper that was stuck inside, the console is no longer working properly. We have tried everything we know to try.

you have probably nudged one of the ribbon type cables inside, carefully try to replace them securely, i hope you manage it as sony will go nowhere near it now you have broken the security seal, good luck

After running console for about 10mins the unit freezes and the lites on console turn red but only the upper and lower lites on the left side turn red

If the fan start to increase in speed rapidly till
it's at full speed with in 3-5 min the G.P.U has lost
it's thermal seal to the heat sink .Some time if
the unit take a fall this can break that seal .

if the seal broke on the C.P.U. your unit would
go to two red almost immediately , so i don't think it's
the C.P.U.

OK the fix is to open it up and press down firmly
and evenly on the heat-sink under the CD drive
that is the G.P.U.s heat-sink .This should re seat and
restore normal operation .

That it

360

Hello!
This is similar to the Red Lights Of Death. But instead of your CPU having a bad connection, it's your GPU. There is a 3 year warranty on the 360, so call Microsoft and get it repaired or replaced. If the warranty seal is broken you can take it apart and replace the x-clamp with 4 screws, 8 fiber washers, 8 steel washers and heat sink paste. Contact me for further instructions if doing it yourself. I hope this helps.

Good luck and happy gaming!!

PS2 (fatty Model) Does not power on

No! absolutely do NOT open the PS2. You will make a huge mistake especially since you dont know what to look for. Besided, if someone here tells you it is one thing, how do they know for sure? Just go with the Warranty.
