    thank you for your tips
    i followed your instruction.the flashing counts was total 15.

    when the set is on, lamp glows for 20 sec.after that shuts down. not shows picture because time is too short i think.

    could be some problem of digital board????

Is the red light blinking at all, if it is, it would be an error code
You did exactly what you needed to for this problem from the information given.

Try the below

Turn on the set and let it shut down. push in the Menu and Device (or input, I don't have a schematic in front of me) buttons on the front of the set at the same time and hold until the green light starts flashing. Then release.
There will be two different sets of flashes, such as, 3 and 6. The code 12 means the set is operating fine. The other codes will tell you what part of the set needs repaired.
Also, remove the bulb and check the ballast connection to the bulb. I find the connection for the bulb may be bent over.
Let me know what you find and we can go from there.

Thank you for using Fixya

    It could be the board or the ICs, you will have to test them if you are able or it will have to be checked by someone who knows what they are doing.

    I would also try resetting the tv by leaving it unplugged for 8 hours but right now I'm thinking that another part will need to be replaced

    by total, did you mean that it was a continual flash or two separate groups of flashes?

    thanks

This is an intermitent solder (dry solder) somewhere the power supply where you see connectors from one PC board to another , so , you have to take out the PCboard and do some resolder , look carefully w/ a magnifying glass ,hope this information helps

Is the red light blinking or steady?
Have you tried to reset the tv?

System Reset
If the TV will not respond to either the remote control or the front panel controls and/or will not power Off, press the SYSTEM RESET button with a pointed item like the end point of a paperclip. The TV will turn Off and the TIMER light will flash quickly for about one minute. When the TIMER light stops flashing, you may again turn on the TV. The changes you made the last time the TV was on before you used the SYSTEM RESET button may be lost, however, the changes that were previously saved are not lost.

Try this and let me know.
Good Luck.

    Also, you can try this...

    A/V Reset

    There may be times when you wish to reset the A/V (Audio and Video) settings back to the factory defaults. To return all of the settings at once, press GUIDE and FORMAT on the front panel at the same time. To reset the defaults for individual devices, use the A/V Memory Reset selection on the AudioVideo menu.

Tv starts to turn on then red light comes on and tv turns off

The red light indicates the lamp has has failed to light. You might just need a new lamp. If replacing the lamp does not solve your problem then the capacitors on PWB-Power need to be replaced or the lamp ballast itself has gone bad.

WD-62525, continous amber lamp light. No picture. Lamp is good.

Hello:

Make sure u replace the lamp cover as the safety switch need to be closed to make the set work. If new lamp did not repair your problem , then it may well be the Ballast Board, Sometimes call the Lamp Driver.

Need to replace ballast on mitsubishi wd-62526

there is a good chance that it is not the ballast.
you would need to measure the voltage on the heavy wires going to the ballast. to see if there is approx 300vdc on them if not or if it is low then the problem is in the chassis or the engine.

Mitsubishi WD-62525 DLP has no picture

Here's something that might also be useful. After you turn on the set, and get the regular red blinky lights, hold down the Device and Menu buttons together for about 5 seconds.
The Power light will start to flash in a two digit sequence.

For example, 3 flashes, then 7 flashes = 37.

Here are the error codes, and the corresponding problem:

12 = No error detected, check power supply.
32 = Lamp Cover is open.
33 = Air filter cover is open.
34 = Lamp abnormality
36 = Light Engine (DMD or Lamp Fan stopped)
37 = Exhaust or Lamp Ballast Fan stopped
38 = Lamp Temperature High
39 = DMD Temperature High
41 = Short is detected
44 = DVI cable between FMT and Engine disconnected

Mitsubishi Projection TV WD-62525

Could be quite a few things wrong. first I would do self test diagnosis and see what error you get, then check that area. It could be a bad Ballast or it could be Fuse F9a09 and the Light Engine. It also could be Caps C9a37 and C9a38. For additional info www.ctechnicians.com
