Question about White Sewing 1521
I have a Toyota RS2000, I've been using it for basic sewing but tried to make curtains recently. (Quite thick fabric and I'm not sure if this is what started the problem)
The machine was working fine until I had to change the bobbin thread, on starting to sew again, I found it would not work.
The shuttle hook and the bobbin appear to be the problem. The needle does not pull the bottom thread up and keeps getting caught on its way round - is this a problem with the timing?
I've done all the usual things, changed the needle, re-threaded, oiled, had a good clean, checked the bobbin winder is off.
I can rotate the handwheel both forwards and backwards ok, and have watched the thread repeatedly getting caught.
Can any body help?
My suggestion is to have it checked, sometimes sewing thick fabric on some machines can cause a problem.
