You really need to take this up with the seller or a Bicycle Shop.

I have a 2006 kawasaki valcan 500 with 2500 miles on it manual said i need 10 40 oil hubby siad i can put 5-30 advanced full synthetic oil for high mileage of 75,000.he said it dose not matters witch oil...

With out getting in the middle of a hubby/wife thing, Ha, Here is what i highly recommend: Especially because the bike has only 2500 miles on it, and it is only a 500 cc, i would positively put 10/40, otherwise might not make it to the 75,000. 5-30 is ok, but designed for higher cc bikes in my opinion , and for higher mileage bikes.

My Father has a schwinn Airdyne. the pedal was loose, I bought a new piece that fits through the pedal, replaced it but it is still loose. I think the medal in the crank wheel is worn...... Because the...

There is a metal shim needed in the bike/pedal that has to be tapped in to keep the pedal tight. If you dad has used the bike for several hundred miles and/or his feet might actually bend the pedals over time (weight), it is possible the metal piece that the pedal attaches to could become bent slightly, and I have seen a few bikes, that need to be taken to the bike repair store (call a large bicycle/itness store) that has a good repair shop and they often can repair these, but rarely less than $125 for an Airdyne repair/tuneup.

Pull mower rope on troy built self propelled mower and it jerks it back out of your hand, hard,,and will not start

Hi,
This sounds like the engine is out of time.
Usually this happens when the blades hit something hard and shears a small aluminum"key" between the crank shaft and the flywheel.
This is reparable. The little key is less than a buck. A person needs some skills to remove the flywheel to replace the "key".

Bike cuts off when clutch is engaged on down shift.

Did you run out of gas? I know it sounds like a stupid question but I have seen it happen before. If your getting fuel to the carbs then I would have to say check the carbs floats. They may be sticking shut.

Fuel Efficiency

have been religious about break-in and will pass 500 miles by the end of the day. I’m getting about 14mpg less in urban and 20mpg less in highway than EPA estimates. I generally cruse between 2200 and 3800 RPM rev once when taking off from a stop and rev at each downshift when stopping. These are lifelong habits and have serious doubts that my engine’s drinking problem is substantially related. Does anyone have an isea why my bike is 34% less fuel efficient than Buell advertises?,I just picked up a '08 XB12R at the start of the season, and was getting really bad mpg the first 1k miles also. I just hit 3.6k miles and am getting about 130 miles to the tank riding hard. Id say give it till 1k-1.5k miles before giving it much worry, during the break in period its going to be low.,,,

Oil type

10W-40 15W-40 etc As I am unable to tell how long the existing oil has been in the bike should a flushing oil be used befor changing the oil? Any help/suggestions/advice would be appreciated. Regards, ,according to 900 Sei WORKSHOP MANUAL Additions and changes to the workshop manual for 500 Quattro-750 Sei whose print date appears to be 2-80, AGIP SINT 2000 SAE 10 W 50 oil is to be used for the engine. I drained the oil and changed the filter on my 1979 750 with 380 miles on it last May. I bought the bike new but haven't used it since 1993. The oil and filter were again changed after 12 miles. regards,,,
