Question about Philips Magnavox 9P6034C 60" Rear Projection Television
Redish tinge on screen not enough blue
This bight be due to the blue gun failing. What I would do in this situation is to use a CRT analyzer to look a the condition on the CRTs. If it proves to be one of the CRTs, I have some bad news for you. these CRTs are usually a matched set and if you replace one you should replace all three, However there have been some folks who only replaced one CRT only to have to replace the others at a later time. First check the CRTs with a CRT analyzer. Then if the results are good try to measure the voltages on the pins of the CRTs with a voltmeter, you will need a schematic to tell you what these voltages should be. By using the schematic and a voltmeter you should be able to trace down the defective circuit. Now, if you do not have a background in electronics, what I would suggest is that you take your TV to a TV repair shop and have them work on it.
I hope this helps
