Same issue as alan464. Ran self-cleaning cycle, oven has not heated since. The panel, clock, fan, etc. work...but no heat in the oven.

You have a thermal fuse open it is called a "T.O.D" it is located on the back of the unit or up in the top. the self clean very often pops these especially on the whirlpool units made 4-5 years ago very cheap part like $20 you can find it with the wiring diagram easy fix good luck

GE standing electric oven range. Oven lower element will not heat up.. only gets Luke warm, can still touch it, although the upper oven element gets very hot. What could the issue be?

Sounds like the bake element - do a visual check and look for blistering or cracking. If it looks normal, unplug the oven (or flip breaker for wall oven) and then you can remove the screw holding the element and pull it forward enough to unplug it and do a continuity test with a multimeter. If it test bad, replace the element.

GE JBP30 oven bottom element not working after being replaced

I would be looking at the bake relay on teh coven control board. Using a voltage meter test the output voltage when energizing the bake feature. Be sure to remove the bake element wire coming from the bake element to the control. Test this terminal without the bake element wire attached. From the terminal with one meter probe to the neutral on the terminal block (where your cord attaches to), you should read 110 volts when energized and 0 voltge when shut off. What are you reading? If I can help further, I am here.....

Waiting to hear from you,

Whirlpool Electric Oven RBS305 overheats while baking, locks door

The technical manual for your range doesn't show an error code of E2 F2 but all of the F2 codes pertain to the touchpad of the range.
Can you clear the E2 F3 by pressing the cancel button? If not, shut off the power to the range for a few minutes and see if the error code goes away. If the error code remains You should unplug the range from the wall and remove the back panel for the control area. Disconnect the ribbon between the touchpad and the electronic control, clean the end of it and reconnect it.
If this doesn't repair the problem you will need to replace the touchpad on the range. The parts diagram lists two touchpads, they are part numbers 8273575- bisque, and 8272702- white.
Good luck

MAYTAG STOVE PROBLEM...NEED HELP

the broiler came on automatically??? not a sensor issue. sounds as if you have a broken wire perhaps, or a faulty control panel energizing the broil element w/o being prompted to. does it say its broiling when element comes on??

Broiler quit

Have you checked the broil element resistance? Unplug the range and remove the back cover. Remove the wires from the broiler element and place a meter across the element posts. See if the element reads close to a short (It should read very low resistance if good). If the element reads infinite (open), you will have to replace the broil element. If the readings are normal, you may have a bad Electronic Range Control (ERC) board. The board controls the bake and broil features of the oven through two separate circuits. Usually a relay on the board goes bad. Since the ERC is considered "non-serviceable", replacement components can be hard to find. For this reason, the entire assembly is usually replaced. The ERC runs around $100 for your range, while the broil element can run anywhere from $35 to $60. Now...as far as your self-cleaning function is concerned - most electric ranges use BOTH elements to super heat the oven cavity to about 700 - 800 degrees F. With one of the elements not working, there's a good possibility the self-cleaning function will not work either Double check the items I mentioned and let me know if this helps you.

Oven will not heat to requested temperature

Shaffy, When baking only the bake element should heat. When broiling only the broil element (upper) should heat. Your oven is a Kitchenaid, you have a 5 year warranty on any electronic element or control board. You may have a temperature sensor that is not working right. The oven just might need to be calibrated, the instructions would be in your owners manual. Your bake element might be failing, it would have to be ohmed out. You also need to verify that the bake element is getting 240V. when turned on. Catriver...post back
