Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Try re-installing the audio driver.
You can download the drivers from the Compaq/HP WEBsupport/download page. Make sure you select your model laptop and the XP or VistaWindows version of the drivers you require and install them. Click on this linkto download the drivers: -

You need to install the audio driver. Go to the Acer WEB site to download the drivers you need, make sure it is Windows XP version for your particular MODEL laptop. Use this link :- http://global.acer.com/support/download.htm By the way, the latest Service Pack for XP is SP3 you should download this and install it, try to borrow SP3 on a CD because it is approx. 350Mb in size.
