How do i rename pictures so that my computer won't think they are duplicates?

Rename the photos on the computer before you download the new photos.
OR
Create a new folder (say Photos1) in another area away from where the existing photos are located in your computer and move all the existing existing into the new Photo1 folder.
Then when you download the new photos from your camera then there will be no conflict or the need to rename the existing photos.
Later, you will need to create another folder and move the current photos into this folder before you download the next lot of photos from your camera.

I borrowed a Caplio R5 camera, have taken some super pics, but couldn't download onto computer. So took the memory stick to Boots and their developer couldn't find the photos. Put the memory stick...

The Photo's are currently stored on the cameras internal memory, you'll need to transfer them to the card using the camera's menu options.

Failing that, plug the camera into your PC and switch on, a box should appear asking you which programme would you like to access the new device with.

Select the folder option, then click on and open any folders therein, one will be the camera memory the other the card memory.

4. Select a folder where you want the photos to be imported to.
  • Click the Import To: drop down menu. (IF you need to create a folder, THEN select Other... then New Folder....type the name of the folder..... then click Choose.)
5. Select a photo in the list, press Command A (to Select All) (OR individually select the photos you wish to copy (Command Select)).

6. Click Import ALL.

PC (Windows)

1. Connect your iPhone to your computer via it's USB cable.
2. Right click the Start menu.
3. Select Explore.
  • Your iPhone will appear as a USB stick or other hard drive would. Allowing you to copy the photos stored in Camera Roll.

Putting information from my computer onto a memory stick

Hello my name is Tim, First thing you are going to want to do is insert the memory stick and open it, if it doesnt automatically open try going to "my Computer" and locate it. then make sure there is sufficient memory on the memory stick. leave this window open and also oper the window with the pictures, you will need to drag each photo you want into the window that has your memory card, or you can select the whole photo folder by holding ctrl and pressing a. to select multiple photos to drag and drop but not all try holding ctrl while clicking on the photos you want then when you get them selected let go of ctrl and click and drag one of the highlighted photos to the memory stick, this also works with files. I hope I answered all your questions, Please leave feedback on me and let me know if you need anymore help. Thanks, Tim

Down loading pictures

When you plug the iPod into the computer, iTunes should recognize the Nano after a minute or less. When it does, click on the icon of the Nano, and then click the Photos tab. Then check the box that says Sync from folder, and select the folder that your photos are stored in. The iTunes tool is not very precise or suer-friendly, and needs a lot of work. But, that is how it works. It usually only gives you an all-or-nothing choice - either load EVERY photo in a given folder, or load none of them. You may have to create a special folder on your desktop that you plan on storing only photos that you intend to sync to your iPod.

When you disconnect the iPod from your computer, you will be able to access your photos. You will also see that iTunes has created a "Photos" folder on your iPod where there wasn't one before.

Synchronising

You have told the synchronisation folder to associate folders with your photos. You need to tell the software - either media player or the Samsung own software that you dont want to synchronise the folder anymore - by deleting the LINK to the folder.

Where does PhotoMAX store photos on my computer?

Photos downloaded from a Polaroid digital camera are automatically stored within special PhotoMAX folders on your computer's C: drive. The exact location depends upon your camera model. Click Here to find where PhotoMAX stores photos on your computer. NOTE: PhotoMAX automatically saves photos in the JPEG compressed format and names them according to when they were downloaded to your computer.
