You need to reset your printer. Goolgle search for "indoreset for rx595" and download it. That is the program you need to use to reset the waste ink pad counter back to zero.

Waste ink pad saturated

The RX595 is one of the "trap door" style printers with access to the waste pads available via a small hatch in the rear.

Removing the pads is not a simple job and best left as you could easily cause the printer to fall out of alignment if you remove or attack the wrong part(s) of the printer.

So, you have two choices... You can either:

  1. Take the printer to an Epson service centre and get it serviced (which costs quite a lot!)

    OR

  2. fit an external waste tank.
Instructions for fitting an external tank are provided here on OctoInkjet and while this is a commercial site (mine to be completely clear) the guide can be applied to a self build kit too if you prefer.

Note: The installation guide is for the RX680-690 but is equally applicable to the RX595 which is a lower quality/specification model brought out at the same time and with the same case design.

There are a number of options for resetting the printer, with a utility released (IPR - ink pad reset) tool release by Epson for North American customers, an unlocked AdjProg utility (you'll have to hunt for that) or if you just want it to work, there's the WICReset utility too, although that requires the purchase of a WICReset key.

Hope that helps.

End of service life error message epson inkjet printer RX700

This refers to the internal counter, actually located in the software on the computer determing that your waste ink pads are likely saturated and need replacement. You can download software from either Epson at http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/InkPadsForm.jsp or at http://www.ssclg.com/download/sscserve.exe. Both of these software packages will allow resetting the counter. However one should either take the printer in to an authorized Epson or independent printer service company or if comfortable with messing around inside computers and peripherals, one can check the waste ink pad(s). On the RX700 there is a small access panel, on the back of the unit, on the left hand side when facing the back of the RX700. It is held in place with a Phillips head screw and small plastic latch tab on its bottom side. The pad material is clearly visible from here, with a pair of clear plastic waste ink tubes directed down into this waste ink receptacle. If this is saturated, wet and discolored, it should be replaced, before resetting the counter. Not doing so risks the excess waste ink overflowing and making a mess and possibly even shorting out some of the circuitry.

I have a warning that my ink pad is saturated and needs replacing contack dealer for assistance (help)

Ink means pad for waste ink nearly full. Epson program read and count all waste ink from head cleaning and ink charge. Next, you need reset waste ink counter, and replace or washing pad. You can extend outlet pipe to outside of printer, so next time you don't need replace pad again.

Epson stylus 830Uink pads full not printing help

The Waste Ink Pads in your printer are saturated with ink and the waste ink counter has exceeded its limit. The Waste Ink Pads should be replaced as soon as possible. You can overcome this problem temporarily by using the SSC utility - download from

http://www.ssclg.com/epsone.shtml

and reset the Protection Counter. This will stop the lights flashing and restore normal operation. However, remember that eventually ink will overflow from the waste ink area and make a dreadful mess, so you must change the waste ink pads before this happens. This requires the disassembly of the printer. Should you decide to have a go at changing the waste ink pads, the 830 service manual can be downloaded from here:

If both lights are flashing, it means the Waste Ink Pads in your printer are saturated with ink and the waste ink ("protection") counter has exceeded its limit. and reset the Protection Counter. This will stop the lights flashing and restore normal operation. for sale very cheaply on E-Bay.
