Copying the Address book from phone to Sim on SGH-E350?

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to copy the address book from the phone memory to the sim on the Samsung SGH-E350. The directional keys on this phone are broken so I'm limping through the menu using the number keypad but the manual only seems to indicate that this process can be done from the sim to the phone and not vice versa.

Thanks to anyone who can help

Donald

Another solution to your problem would be to connect ur phone to a computer and transfer your phonebook thru your pc. Just secure a data cable and download the appropriate softwares. good luck

I cannot copy my address book to my sim card, samsung

hello, all you have to do is to click your menu key, then you go to contacts, you click on it then you go to copy and click on it,then you see send from either phone to simcard or simcard to phone.all you need to do here is to click on the send from phone to simcard.alternatively, you can as well click on menu then you go to contacts and click on it and you now go to settings, now you see memory in use.all you ought to do is just to click on it and choose both phone and sim memory,so that, whenever you want to save contacts on your mobile phone you will be asked to save it either on the simcard or the phone memory.thanks, you are welcomed.

Samsung s8300 how do i speed dial using keyboard

Hi, I found a way to get Speed Dial on the Eternity or Ultra Touch . As follows: [most of this from Phonebook/More/Settings/1 ]

1. Copy all address book entries from Sim to Phone Memory.
2. Delete all Sim Address book entries.
3. Switch Address book source to Sim.
3. Re-enter up to 99 speed dial entries in Sim, in the exact order you want them to be assigned to speed dial.
4. Switch Address book source back to Phone Memory.
From now on all numbers on the Sim will be in Speed Dial and you will view the address book from phone memory. Of course any number can be in both places.
Now to speed dial just enter 1#, 2# etc for any number in the Sim Address book. You will get to view and confirm the entry and then dial. In a way this is even better then the speed dial functions on older Samsungs, as the preview before dialing ensures you have the right speed dial entry.
I think it works fine. dk

Unlocked 8700c blackberry sim card info not showing

Yes, the blackberry and SIM memory are different.

You will need to copy all contacts onto the BB memory to make full use of its features.

You can do this by going to address book /Options/ SIM Contacts and Copy All to address book.

I assume that if you cannot remember your password or pin and have got to this point, then you may not have any other options and will lose any contacts, music, pictures and anything that you had saved on your phone, this will not effect your memory card (If you have one inserted, or your SIM card (Which should NOT be inserted during the reset anyway.)

WARNING!!!!!!!! This will reset your phone back to the factory settings.

( Remove the battery and take the sim card out. Power-up the phone, you will see the insert SIM screen. Type in *2767*3855# like you are making a call, press send.
After you enter the code it will take a few seconds ( you should get text saying not to do anything and that it will reset when its done. ) The phone will automatically restart. Shut the phone back off, then put your SIM card back in and power your phone back on. That's it, your done.)

Remember that it WILL DELETE EVERYTHING off of your phone, so i HIGHLY recommend after the reset and for future purposes that you save everything off of your phone and upload ALL your contacts to your SIM or memory card. to do that:
COPY Phone to SIM:
1. open up the address book
2. options
3. OPTION 13: COPY TO SIM ..or.. OPTION 14: MOVE TO SIM
(NOTE: OPTION 13: COPY TO SIM will produce multiple copies, showing PHONE and SIM contacts (both be displayed in your address book list.) To fix this: you will have to open the address book settings, "View Contacts from" : SIM or Phone.)

COPY Phone to Memory Card:
1. open up "My Stuff"
2. options
3. option 4: copy folder
4. Copy to: Memory Card

Hope this helps.

Transfer contacts list

1. From the standby screen (the first screen when you open your phone), go to the menu.
2. Scroll to the address book and press select.
3. Scroll to the address you wish to copy (or any address if you want to copy all of them) and press the menu key.
4. Go down to copy and press select.
5. Select "Entries" to copy just that one entry or "All to SIM" if you want to copy all your addresses to your SIM card, or "All to Phone" if you want to copy them all to your phone.
6. Select Merge or Override. Merge will combine any addresses that are already on your card with the ones you are now copying, Override will replace anything that is already there with the ones you are now copying. Be careful in deciding which you want to do since Override will delete anything previously saved and merge will duplicate any that were already saved and are being saved again.
