I want to sync my I Phone 4 to a established file on my computer?

before you can sync your iPhone with anything, you need to setup iTunes on your computer and set it up for syncing. putting a file from your computer on an iPone from the computer, is not syncing, buy copying. For that you need a different tactic. Depends even on what it is you want to put on the phone.
When you have an old backup from any phone, or even from the iPhone 4 you now have, you can't add that to the existing files on the phone.

Recover deleted text messages on an iPhone?

Unfortunately, there is no such a thing like trash bin on your iPhone so that you can restore your deleted text messages.

However, there is such an iPhone SMS recovery software that can help you recover deleted text messages on iPhone 5, 4s, 4 and 3gs. I used Tenorshare iTunes Data Recovery. It worked.

You can give it a shot! You can download it from

I don't remember my iPhone restrictions

To restart your iphone press the "home button" and the "power button" at the same time and hold it until the image pops out ( it will be like a pic of this white wire you use to synchronize your ipod and it will tell you to CONNECT WITH ITUNES) .Then the itunes will find your fimeware and download it on you computer. Then fallow the instructions provided by itune Losing the data from your iPhone can happen for lots of reasons, including: Repairs that require you to erase all data on phone You may have erased the data (by accident or on purpose) File corruption. And while losing your iPhone's data is never a pleasant experience, restoring iPhone data from a backup is a fairly simple task that can have you up and running again in no time. Each time your sync your iPhone, the data, settings, and other information on the phone are automatically backed up on your computer. If you encounter a situation in which you need to restore, though, all you need to do is download this back up to your phone and you'll be off and running again. To begin to restore your iPhone data from the backup, connect your iPhone to the computer that you normally sync it to that contains the backup file (in most cases, this will be your normal computer. If you're syncing to more than one machine, you should have backups on both computers. Just choose the computer with the backup you prefer). In the center of the iPhone management screen, you'll see a "Restore" button. Click that. When you do this, iTunes will show you a few introductory screens. After them, you'll need to agree to the standard iPhone software license. Do so and click Continue. Now you'll be prompted to enter your iTunes account information. This is the same account that you set up either when you The easier way to do this is to restart your iphone but you will lose all your apps and other stuff. The phone will look just like the first time you bought it, there will be nothing on it. (but then you can add the stuff again) Then the itunes will find your fimeware and download it on you computer. Then fallow the instructions provided by itunes. buying things from the iTunes Store or when you activated your iPhone originally. No need to set up a new account. You'll also be asked to register your phone - fill out the required information to do so. After that, iTunes will offer you a free trial of Apple's Mobile Me service. Take it up on that offer or skip it, your choice - and continue.hoose Backup to Restore iPhone From Next, iTunes will display the list of iPhone backups that you can restore your iPhone from (in most cases, this will be only one backup, but in certain circumstances there will be more). Choose the back up you want to restore from based on its being the most recent one or the only one - and continue.Begin Restore Process Once the proper backup file is selected, iTunes will begin the restore process. The process is fairly quick because it only transfers data and settings, not all your music. After the restore process is complete, double check the settings on both your phone and in iTunes for what gets synced to your phone. While the restore process is good, it often leaves out some settings, including some music sync settings like podcasts, email sync settings, and other items.Choose Whether to Share Diagnostic Info After the initial iPhone restore is complete, but before your music is synced to the phone, iTunes will ask you whether you want to share diagnostic information with Apple. This is strictly voluntary, though the information will help Apple improve its products in future versions (those concerned with privacy may want to decline this option, as it involves sharing data with Apple about how the iPhone is used) Make your choice and continue.Sync Music and Check Settings After all other items are synced to the phone, music syncs to your iPhone based on the settings of the backup you're using. Depending on how many songs you're syncing, this could just take a few minutes or could take an hour or more. When music is done syncing, you'll be ready to go! Remember to check your settings to make sure the phone is configured the way you like it, but your phone will be ready to use just the way it was before its data was erased.

Well, though iPhone use quite different storage mechanism, still you CAN recover deleted or lost data (such as text messages, contacts, photos etc) with a specific iPhone data recovery program ->

Hope this helps, regards!

My Apple iPhone 3GS shuts down the phone every time I hang up on the phone.

Try backing up the phone in iTunes and then recover it to clean OS and then restore backup and see if that fixes it.

Sync iphone to outlook contacts

Speaking of syncing iPhone with Outlook, you can take advantage of iTunes to sync contacts. sync-iphone-outlook-contacts-oxaxc0rwhkhzilrwacqreyis-3-0.jpg
  1. Connect iPhone to computer with USB cable, and launch iTunes.
  2. Click iPhone icon, and choose Info the Summary Panel in left sidebar.
  3. Check Sync Contacts with, and choose in the drop-down menu.
  4. Click Apply at the right bottom to start syncing iPhone contacts with Outlook.
When the sync is finished, the contacts will show up in the Outlook contacts. Besides syncing contacts, you can also sync iPhone calendars and mails to outlook as well. But if you have noticed, the sync of iTunes is an annoying issue among iPhone users as during the sync of iTunes, the application may erase the available files in their iPhone.
