Question about Brother IntelliFax-2820 Laser Fax
For the last two weeks or so every time something comes out of my fax whether I am making copies or anytime someone faxes me, or when I get failed transmission reports the fax makes a LOUD clicking noise. There is no message across the screen indicating that something is wrong... please help!!!
It could be a bad drum unit. If the drum doesnt turn smoothly it will make a clicking or grinding noise since it is gear driven. Take out the drum and turn the gear with your thumb. turm towards you. If difficult Thats it. It also could be a fuser gear. good luck Lawrence
