My GE Profile washer top

My GE Profile washer top load makes a Pulse / thump and an surge in the lights in the house when the spin cycle kicks in and then it stops spinning. I un loaded the unit and reset and it ran fine without anything in it. But then ran a rince only and it did it again. The unit is only 5 yrs old and I would love to repair it if possible. Any ideas of what to check and where to get a parts breakdown for this unit ? Thanks for your Help.

check the bearings and the parts you can get at parts direct from sears
