Question about HP w1907 LCD Monitor

Open Question

An "auto Adjustment in Progress" screen keeps flashing on my monitor every 2-4 seconds. It will go through periods when it does this for hours and sometimes it doesn't do this for several hours. I have tried resetting the resolution of the monitor turning it off and then back on using the monitor's menu etc. Please help!!! This is sooooooooo frustrating!!!!!

Right click on your desktop, go to properties, and navigate to the settings tab. There, try to set the monitors resolution to the largest available. That should fix your problem. If it doesn't just try some other resolutions until ou find one that works. I hope this helps, Yannick.

SOURCE: My HP w1907 won't stop popping up 'Auto Adjustment in Progress'

Something seems to be triggering it to restart, these are some of the things you can try. Make sure your video cable and power cord are secure on both ends. If you have video card make sure it is secure in its socket. Try plugging the power cord into a different outlet. Try it on another computer if possible. If you find nothing with these ideas I would send it back if it is under warranty the power supply seems to be dropping out.

Try turning down the brightness on the monitor, sometimes this will fix the issue, if not the problem is in the inverter board and needs a professional to assess it further.
